I’m curious to hear the answers, I’ve dabbled with using mnemonics to remember long lists, but what I need to do is remember who’s ordering what, where it is, and how much it costs – and as you may recall, I’m not the best with remembering things…

I will turn drinks into images – say a coconut for Malibu, a hydraulic jack for Jack Daniels, a balance beam for Jim Beam, the sun for Corona – with a mnemonic for the price of that drink, and then I link it to the person. The problem is I struggle to create and associate these memories quickly enough, and then get confused further by mixers and special requests (two squeezes of lime or in a tall glass). When the bar gets busy and the same people are making different orders, it gets confusing!
